Hardware processing classification:
Hardware surface processing can be divided into: hardware spray painting processing, electroplating, surface polishing processing, hardware corrosion processing, and so on
Surface processing of hardware parts:
1. Spray painting processing: Hardware processing factories use spray painting processing when producing large hardware products, to prevent rusting of hardware components, such as daily necessities, electrical enclosures, handicrafts, etc.
2. Electroplating: Electroplating is also the most common processing process in hardware processing. Modern process technology is used to electroplate the surface of hardware components to ensure that products do not undergo mold or embroidery after long-term use. Common electroplating processes include screws, stamping parts, battery cells, car parts, small accessories, etc
3. Surface polishing processing: Surface polishing processing is generally used for a long time in daily necessities. For example, by treating the surface burrs of hardware products, we produce a comb, which is a hardware component made by stamping. Therefore, the edges and corners of the punched comb are very sharp, so we need to
Polish the sharp edges and corners to create a smooth face, so that it will not cause harm to the human body during use.
Turning the outer circular surface is the basic method of machining the outer circular surface in hardware processing, and the equipment used is a lathe. In general machinery factories, lathes account for about 40% of the total number of machine tools. Turning is the main method for rough and semi precision machining of various materials' cylindrical surfaces, and it is also the final finishing method for various materials that are not suitable for grinding.
When producing single pieces in small batches, turning the outer circular surface is generally carried out on an ordinary lathe. Multi blade semi-automatic lathes or automatic lathes are widely used in mass production. Large disc parts should be processed on a vertical lathe. Large long shaft parts need to be processed on a heavy-duty horizontal lathe.
The characteristics of turning the cylindrical surface include:
1. The cutting tool is simple, easy to manufacture, grind, and install;
2. The cutting process is smooth and the fluctuation of cutting force is small, which is conducive to adopting high cutting speed and improving productivity;
3. The machine tool has good universality and can process outer circles, end faces, inner holes, threads, and chamfers in one clamping process. The mutual position accuracy between surfaces is easy to ensure;
4. Suitable for precision machining of non-ferrous metal parts.
